Mack Engine Software Question

I have VCADS 2.35.10 and VMACCS 2.9.3 ... I have a friend who has some newer EGR engine trucks, and wants to know if this software can do a "forced" regen. He is having problems where the trucks aren't getting hot enough to do a regen when driving, and they forget to hit the REGEN button at the end of the day. So he has to tow them to a dealer, pay them to hook a computer up, etc...

I'm just not familiar enough with Mack to know what software he would need to get, plus which version. Can anyone help?

Dont have the anwser to your question, but when you do find out. Can you share the VMACCS 2.9.3. I have only found 2.6.12 on here. Thanks

in order to do a regen on those particular macks u need techtool 1.11 with vcads 2.40 or higher those mack trucks use mp7, mp8, mp10 engines wich are the same as volvos d11, d13, and d16 engines painted red using vmack4 electronics o should i say volvo electronics the old mack software will not work with the new trucks

yeah ...thats right m8...is possible to reg ....the egr valve with 1.11....

also in vmacks IV ...is imposible connect with vmacks service tool...only possible with vtt...

I really like to know ..if some member here can download one calibration ...for macks vision ...from vip@r trucks or volvo server...dont need more..just one.

From my research techtool is the same as PTT, correct?

I've noticed that the VCADS that I've installed has updates, but doesn't go to 2.40 ... I'll continue my search for TechTool v1.11. THanks for the help!
