not sure about mercdes trucks themselves,but all the sterlings and freightliners that have mercedes 900 series and 4000 series, I use DDDL 6.4X or 7.0x.

I do have DDDL 7.05 up and running with Nexiq USBLink.

I think you still have to use DAS for this.
I am using DAS for mercedes trucks, with 501/502/904/906 engines

4pin and 14pin is for old year model mb trucks, and 16pin cable is for most of the new mb trucks. Use DAS

In north Amerca the only good and easy available interface is NEXIQ USB LINK and set it at 1708.it will work on all MBE 900 and 4000. series engines with DDDL 6.45 and DDDL 7.03-7.05 for pre 2007 and after 2007 engines.

no my friend atetruckrepair..is not posible...whit usb link or noregon,dpa,etc..use a diferent protocol of comunication,and dlc conector is diferent..only 3 pins..first i purchase de sdc 701 from bosch(this is spend in very bad way your money,5500 usd)and can see almost anything...sucks!!!!before i purchase carman vg+ and can see something else...but cant make a lot of proofs....the software and interface to work very good whit this cars and others like atego,axor and more (european models from mercedes) is star diagnosys and minidiag 2...others is waste your money.....

in sprinter kw2000 ..........protocol not supported of rp1210a tools ...and in european same problem with can ...only possible with das or simmilar ,if is sprinter 3xx or 4xx you can try with autoenginuity ,I know they supported .

in american mbe only 4000 and 900 series supported by rp1210 a/b with dddl ,mbrs .

DAS is the best instrument for MB trucks. Is flexible, quick and stable. And good enough for development procedures (wide possibilities for reseach)

I use autocom for diagnostics, can also code unit pumps. My friend successfully read and clone using Ktag.
