View Full Version : Which tool to read and write 29f400 flash ?

I`m trying to virginize Siemens MS43. Which programmer will suit best to do the job. I have the old DME still alive than I can also read the old one and transfer the dump to the new one which is from the junk yard. That`s my idea what do you think guys :hmmmm2:

What do you thing if I will switch the flashes 29f400 between the old and new DME. The old DME starts the car now. Will it work ?
What do you think about xprog-m programmer ?

Willem works fine, Ive done several, I use a true usb from mcumall.

What kind of software do you use guys to read and decode the content of the flash to make the right adjustments like VIN, immo code ?

Im using the GQ-4X. Its a Willem USB, and it does a great load of chips...

I use Batronix BX48. I have Willem too (china clone, not true usb), but is crap!

I think the willem programmer has been paid for now . Abused the psop44 adaptor a bit . but still working ...So in the market for better programmer . I think i migt bgo for what ADAM 28 got .

Seems he never complained on his programmer..
Take your time and search what he bought first time ..The best choice so far.....:manusign::stupid::laugh:

i made the mistake of buying th vp490 over the programmer Adam bought
same as above seems to be the better of the two from the looks
of things ?
