hia guys can you please tell me is there any type of dish i need for my itgate 220 would like to install on the front of the house so nothing big. seen lots of 60cm ones about but unsure please advise. anybody in the frochdale area who can install please pm me thanks.:wavey:

To get the maximum from satellite you would need to get a 1m motorised dish. If you just want to go for a 60cm dish then you could probably get a Sly dish from fleabay for about ?20 and install it yourself.

i used 58cm orbital on a motor.picks up main sats no problemo.costs about?30 for dish

55cms.. you wont get much on that in the UK, 13E (some breakup in rain) 19E (some breakup in rain) 28E (once again, heavy rain will break up the picture)

Don't be fooled by the description:


Do not let the small 55cm size mislead you to draw the wrong conclusion; This dish can receive signals from 6 positions within 30 degrees

Don't let their advert mislead you..! Yes technically they are right, so long as you are in a strong sat footprint you will get up to 6 sats.. The UK requires a bigger dish than the rest of europe due to footprints
