Well guys i need some help now, am reading every day in this forum to get to know how to do things correctly, so here is my first mile correction job. And guess what, no info no where regarding this car. I try every possible software in my hands to do this but i cannot. It is 2004 Cadillac devile DTS. Digital dash with 93c66. Dash at the time that i read it had 99085 miles or 159465 km showing at the dash. I want to adjust it to 73500 , but i cannot find where the miles are located . I try tachosoft 21.5 with no luck, Tacho uviversal also with no luck.Well the only thing i can say now is Thanks in advance to every one of you guys.

On Most GM vehicles the miles are stored in 00000000 and 00000010 -the first 2 lines- However your dump does not look right. Try to read 8 and 16 bit.

I do gm on a daily basis so if you have any questions just pm me.

GM uses the same codes for most of their vehicles, so if you don't find the exact vehicle try using another one that has a similar chip or type of vehicle. they are not always the same but try getting a code for the miles that you get in the dash and then compare it with what you have in dump. Tachosoft is good at this vehicles.

On GM vehicles most of the times you get the code in KM with tachosoft. so make sure you get codes for km and miles and see what works

good luck

I am wondering how this was figured out. I am working on a 2001 Cadillac STS right now with a 93c46 EEPROM and I can't seem to figure out the HEX value. Nothing matches up with any of the calculators I have on file

On a 2001 normally the odo value are from or around x10 to x30, post your dump will help you
