Hi, is there anybody out there willing to pass on their expertise and physically teach me how to operate and understand the dreambox. I live in the Durham area UK.
I'm not thick, I would just prefer to draw off experience rather than learn slowly via the web.
Cheers!
ITS A SCAM !

there are loads of people here who will help you, but you need to have a sound working knowledge of certain things before you start..

you need to read up on it. it took me 2 weeks reading up on it before i managed to get it all up and running. its worth it in the end, just stick with it. im still strugling to connect it between dvd recorder and new tv!

Big learning curve. These things are not plug and play and whats gonna happen when you need to reflash or need your bouquet updating.
These are just a few of the things needed to know plus the thing you are not allowed to talk about on the forum(cryptic message i call it a Patsy, work that one out.)
All i can say is make a start with flashing and do loads of reading and searching as all the answers are out there.
If you get stuck there are loads of members like myself willing to help you but you must help yourself first.
Ive only owned a Dreambox a few months and ive got my head round it so it cant be to hard.
Andy.

Believe me its worth understanding for yourself, rather than getting others too do it for you, I read umpteen guides before I jumped in, Mastered it and now can give help out to people when needed, You cant go through life getting everything done for you.
Read the stickies on this forum and you will have it sussed in no time

i live in durham or just outside but i do agree with the others if some one were to do it for you, you would not learn any thing for your self.
the best thing to do is read and ask questions and you will get there in time.
this is not something you can just pickup from watching someone else do.
