Can I reword this question?

You want a bootable SATA drive that can be plugged into any laptop.

Kind of hard to do flawlessly. You will need a SATA caddy to put the drive into, this will plug into the USB port.

It's then a choice of loading an ISO or windows bootable partition so you can install windows directly onto the laptop drive.

Or, install a working version of windows & try to boot on a different laptop. The problem is getting the correct drivers installed so it works. Since different processors need different drivers you could have a problem.

I have no all singing & dancing answer for you. But I would prefer to use a live cd than fight my way through getting all drivers installed & working.

Have a read here (http://www.nu2.nu/pebuilder/), it might be just what you need
