Hello mates, tired doing this car today, no luck. it is a 08/03, used tacho. Showed SW version 17.25 I believe, showed close to original mileage, I put the new value , but it did not change. Do I need to reset the battery or something?

How about Super VAG K+CAN, Would that do this ?

did you try reading the info again to make sure it changed in the chip?

Yes, It showed the original again. I hoped that tacho should do this no problem.

hello, better to dissolder eeprom, read it on a serial programmer and change mileage by a soft like NYO, it's better and safe

How about reading and saving the dump with tacho using a menu that reads that chip, then editing and writing it back to the chip ?

I CAN'T GET THE SPEEDOMETER NEEDLE OFF. IS THERE SOMETHING SPECIAL ABOUT THAT ? ALL CAME OFF EASY , EXCEPT THAT ONE.

I have done it with Tacho Universal 2008. No problem at all. I have changed it via OBD connection using Sharan 2000 cable
