Will recording ever be free on Sky Plus boxes

With the Hummax PVR boxes making inroads in this field. Its probable that their cost will fall and sky will have to react.

Any sign of movement on this subject? I note they have reacted to other developments of digital TV

wouldnt watch their channels if they were free, full of adverts and self promotion- a complete rip off.

yep its a rip off.. imagine it.. a company protecting their equipment from hacking.. what a disgrace..

If you want to record freesat then get a freesat box.. stop complaining about sky boxes..

they are excellent and do the job exactly the way they were designed..

just because a company tries to protect their intellectual property doesn't make them arseholes..

it's a free market.. if you dont like it.. dont buy it
