I am working with a factory which can crack some rolling codes remote on HCSxxx chips, it normally take them 1~2 to crack these chips while other chips may take much longer. As far as I know these chip has the manufacturers secret code the encode the transmitting signal which may have up to 4.3 billions combinations.

This factory already cracked some automotive remotes, these cracked remote then can be duplicated using after-market remotes at around US$10 each.

PM me if you need more info about these remotes. thanks

next thing is to pull the remote modual and look inside.maybe we can cross bred remotes by flashing
the modual.like if we have a camry remote head and make it work a lexus. by flashing it over it will roll as a
lexus and not a toyota.us$10 is much better price for new remote then $50 for use from ebay.i see remote modual being sold with key to vw and mercedes on the net.

Guess what the permution is 18 billion ,billion(i think)to 1. to crack the code,it can be broken by most powerfull computer ,but it takes 10 years!. but, dont worry some scientists have discovered that the first 32 bit of the data never changes!, so not long before the secret is broken.
