RED CAS prog modification

Hello friend;s. I have buy Red Cas as backup programmer today.As you can see inside board quality is 6/10.Not have time to test yet but on oscilloscope BKGD and RST looks ok,will see on board.
I have change X-tal cable straight away,because original was almost 30 cm long and i put my 15.5 cm cable.What i want to ask is next,my soft for this red Cas is Rosfar 6.2s ver.,can i try to use new version like 9.6s or some other?
Did anyone test this option.I don't wanna lock hardware.

i have same Red Cas and work with version 9.2s i think dongle from interface is same for all sw

Well as i see 9.2s is good enough.I use XprogM but this one is good as backup programmer. If someone can upload 9.6 working version.Pozdrav ekipi....

Unfortunately this tool doesent have recovery option. Only original one. So the backups are unusefull.

There is a company which sell original. Price is 1500eu. Are you still interested ?

Just for info ,is it possible to use rosfar for other 912 unlocked mcu,like in dashes or airbag,uch.......?
I don't need that option,but just curious.
I have try on 912D60 and say device still secured.

My friend chinese guy's copy Catepilar,i think it is all said.
What is funny to me is next.
They copy successfully lot of thing's but make errors like bad soldering.
And so far i have not meet one chinese who know what is purpose of stuff he sold and test it before sold.
If I or someone else from forum left to China and start job like china resellers,he will be rich guy.

I have the blue one and it's not soo good. It gave me problems all the time. I heard red is alot better in quality.

Red one works fine 100% time, never had problems with mine, just hope I haven't jinxed myself with next job lol
