View Full Version : The best ID46 solution?

Hi all,

I am after the best and most economical solution for copying ID46, preferably using TPX3 batteryless chip.

Current I have clone Code Reader2 which can do 4D and all Philip Crypto apart from ID46, ID48, 8E and 8C.

I know RW4+, JRS500 with TPH cloner and Keyline 884 are all capable of ID46 with their propritry chips ( very expensive, battery powered) but they are too dear, can not justify spending US$5000 just for ID46.


any thought?

Keyline TK60 chips do not use battery power, nor does JMA, I don't know about RW4+.
Other than using your plug-in programmer, I don't know of any other economic solution.
Maybe look for someone going out of business and buy their used cloning equipment.

Hi, will TRS5000 and TPH Cloner work by them selves, don't need TPX Cloner ???

tr5000+tph cloner is for id46 tpx cloner is only for texas crypto this is not necessary for id46 i?m not have for texas i have rw3 very old with eh2

Zedbull, copy onto tpx3- will cost you less than a trs5000 plus tph cloner. plus you get all the extras (eeprom) functions with it

ID46 from ZB is NOT ready yet, lots of promises there. you pay extra US$1000 for 4D on the top of US$1400 Zb itself. you also pay US$999 for Ford and Mazad options, you pay US699 for Chrysler unlock.../ the list goes on and on.

I am thinking of just use SBB, MVP ..T300 clone to program the ID46 to the car, when clones do not work then I will be using MVP Pro, one token worth about US$25 only. I think I can program 80% ID46 into cars by clone machines while the rest of 20% can be done by genuine MVP.


Do NOT mention clone ZB still, it even can NOT copy 4D ( genuine one needs internet connection or 4D add-on module).
