2005 Mercedes S class Can Blocker info

Hello people,
Can someone tell me if i was to remove a can blocker from this 2005 S class car, will the mileage jump back to when i installed the can blocker or will "All" mileage be accumulated and shown on dash as a total.

example:
1.When i inserted blocker mileage was 80,000
2. Now mileage on dash is showing 115,00

What will show on dash when Blocker removed??????

I put can blocker in w221 2005 model back of dash and at that time the mileage was 80,000 roughly, however since then the car has done about 35,000 miles now the question is when i take out the can blocker will i get 80,000 showing on clock or 115,000.

IE does the blocker stop accumulating (freeze)the mileage in EZs????

You didnt forget to take out one resistor??
It have 3 diferent conections for can blocker

ok guys many many thanks again, I will be taking it out tomorrow and getting a pal to do it with Diagprog,all via obd so will let you know.

PS I was under the impression that these blockers purpose was to stop mileage mileage in ezs from accumulating or what other purpose can they serve???

Yes ,its normal when is pull out can blocker, it will come
original value in dash and ezs,
but when he live can blocker in ezs, not posible to see
value in ezs

The can blocker was designed for cars with nec in ezs key module,w221, The 9s12,[w221] could always be done....pre rosfar with etl, removing micro to programme,post rosfar by simple solder connection.

When early plug in can blocker is fitted to cars with NEC ezs, I assure you that star developer can read the original miles of car, unlike latest versions of key pro etc which are fitted externally of the key module interupting the can high and can low cables from ezs.


As a guide, here are the approx dates of introduction of miles stored in ezs key module, please feel free to correct it if you know better.
W220....hc908 in ezs [approx 2001]
W221....hc0s12 in ezs [approx 2003]
W221 [If I remember correctly]2006 introduced NEC Havanna micro in ezs

But as the old plug in can blocker is now historic.............no worries
