My XP machine works wonders with mixing MIC and WAV OUT.

My new Vista Laptop now has to run an old audio driver JUST to record WAV OUT mix but will not ADD mic at the same time. Karoke is now not an option with a MIC and using INSPEAK means switching back and forth manually from WAV OUT to MIC.

I'm hearing audio mixing is now limited due to copyrite concerns.

Any ideas or hints. My stufff is Conexant audio and Vista Home Premium.

Yeah on a reg PC I could install a sound card with drivers to do what I want but this laptop HP and Microsoft now have me in chains so to speak.
