Pc or mac for games

My m8 is thinking of getting a MAC after Christmas cos he has here'd that they are better for gaming. Not sure what the spec would be. In general which is the better of the two PC or MAC.. Cheers for your help people...

to my knowledge its got to be the pc for gaming simple as.never been in a gaming shop and seen any games for the mac,thats why i aint got a g4

There are plenty of them in Apple shops and online, though admittedly not as many as there are for the PC platform.

G4 is obsolete Mac technology, they all use Intel processors now.

To play games how a pc isn?t nothing, remember to have a decent vga or the games will see like years ago.
