Files playback

Hi all,
Please post your experience what your box play back good and what does not. Which firmware support this playback which does not. Please also mention about the type of storage and box.
I have IP Box 910HD internal sata HDD. I have tried with NLB8421, NLB8478 and SIF8421 cannot play anything except own recorded.
ABcom 8340 play divx and xvid but with some freezes, no subtitles. Also the network interface crashes - panic and then hard reboot, during ftp transfer of big files. So I cannot try yet to play HD H.264 file vob (transformed from mkv).

Am I the only one with file playback problems? NLB image 8478 get panic whrn trying to playback any video file.

BTW, with AB_910HD_r8340b_271008_usb_all_noboot the playback of 720p H.264 avi is going good-that make the box very useful, since the dvd players don't playback HD files.
But it is not possible to upload the whole file since the network interface is crashing.

I have a Cuberevo and I had exactly the same problems, all I did was a factory reset and it worked ok after that.
