my SNR ranges between 75 and 85
my AGC is sat at 96
my BER ranges from 0 - mid 20's
what level should these be?
on some channels were my SNR is at about 75 there is some interference.
what is there that can be done to improve this? i've already tried moving my lnb but no better

most sport channels are around 80%
most documentary channels like history, discovery etc are at 67%

Low snr doesnt always mean a bad reception.Think its only important with the hd channels.
Ive loads that are low as that and get perfect picture.
What box and image is this on.You could fine tune it.

I get almost the same reading on my minidish with my openmedia box... but its because my dish is broke as a screw head snapped on it and the bracket is also warped so it moves slighty in the wind.. so some of my channels are unwatchable and depending on how the dish is sitting depends on how good or bad it is
I think its the AGC being too high, because mine goes from 85-95 and SNR goes from 75-90 and it seems when they are both at about 90 the picture is good but when the AGC is way higher than the SNR (SNR-75/AGC-90) it's constantly jumping and freezing

flashed the openpli image, and hooked the receiver to the tv and sat dish..and its giving me a SNR of 1% a AGC of 70% and Ber 0 , as i have read SNR is the quality of the signal, what could be causing that such low SNR? because like this it wont let me scan transponders

Dish out of line, faulty lnb bad cabling or faulty tuner.
Would try the box on another dish if you can and that would rule that out.
If thats ok more likely the dish.
