VAG 10.6 interface, how to use it safely?

Hi all, just got my VAG 10.6 interface from china. I had earlier one which had gone useless some how. Anyway my question is how to use it without blocking/ruining it. I mean not to block it by software?

No any warranty for chinese clone .
First sure no any internet connect if you work with vagcom .
This not stable product but you can restore it after crash to v 908.
Dumps can be founded in the forum or google .
