Hi all,
have anybody orig flash (M58BW0160B80) dump for this ECU:?
Passat 2.0FSI 119kW BLR
0261 S02 132
MED9.5.10
7553

Dump from this car (attached) is probably damaged (probably some tuning). The car run well, without problems. Only MIL shine, fault code P0601-checksumm.
I have corrected the CHKS in flash (with BDM and CMD soft), but no success, always P0601.
Any idea?

Your file is 100% original, no changes. 06F906056AM_9970 is also the latest update for this ecu. Update has been released on 1st of September 2008. Nothing newer available.

Hier the eeprom dump:

hi
for this dump it is very poor
your dump is not reconised as an ecu dump
so the Cks will not be able to be calculate

hi
the checksum is wrong :Cks: 8D81
i correct it :Cks: 8E10

many thanks mate!
i will test it and i will post the result.
Can you tell me, what soft you use to CHKS verify?
I corrected the CHKS with BDM+CMD_soft and the result is diffrent (and don't work).

eeprom 95080 i have desolded and read with BeeProg. The eeprom-CHKS i have verified "manually" and is OK.

OK man
if you don't find an original dump for your ecu you can updat it
if you have compatible interface passthru like bosch kts
and a good connection internet mini 1megabit/sec
use the URL :https://erwin.volkswagen.de
register ,pay, and you can update from manifecture

Hello
1) The file posted was 100% OK and original. See the attached update sgo and sgo unpacked. A full match, exept the bootblock of course, which is not written.
2) The 16bit checksum + complement you were "fixing" is not active on this file so it makes no difference as we see. But it also does no harm.
3) Erwin is no use since there is no newer version available to this box number. So he cannot make an update

Please all consider the possibility that the ecu may have gone defect. It is rare but it can happen.
Have a nice weekend
