Volvo VODIA (Volvo Penta Generators) PTT

Hi people!

Looking for the tools (hardware and software), to diagnose a Volvo Penta Generator.

If anyone knows where to get the Volvo VODIA tool please let us know.

If someone knows which is the software needed for doing the diagnose, please let us know.

I understand that with PTT it is not possible to do the diagnose, but I'm not sure, so please comment about that.

In the relation to Volvo Penta that is known a little.... If still it is possible to find the information in the Internet on repair and service of these engines on a software and the engine control module is not present anything.... But same does not happen, there should be any leak of the information - of these engines not too a little.... Simply nobody wishes to be divided by knowledge and the information. But it while.....

To me Volvo Penta official dealers have told the price in 3000 euros for Vodia, but .....Vodia can look and clean errors ECM only. And to load or replace a configuration it is necessary to use something another (I speak about a software).

Unfortunally cable is not enough, because PTT and VCADS not working with volvo penta engines(unknown vin number), it can be diagnosed only in 2 ways
1.Install ecu from truck
2.Use old version of vcads when penta was a part of vcads...

I have volvo VODIA for penta generators. It use notebook with RS232 port.

But it can't flash ECMs, you know we very hardly get that files from volvo web. The adaptor is Made in China too. I had check it in PENTA generators and work fine.
