What you want to know? BL version is compatible with BM. In fact, BL is only lead free verson of BM.

FT323BL? Or FT232BL?

FT232BL (lead-free) = FT232BM (not led-free)

So, both are equivalents.

If you buy a 704.1 you'll probably get a FT232BL version. Then you can flash it to a newer version.

The best way to buy it is talking to the dealer and asking him if the VCDS is based on FT232BL or FT232RL.

This is valid for clone versions. For originals versions it makes no sense being FT232BL or FT232RL... unless you're trying to do something else with it.

I'm sorry but FT 323BL doesn't exit.

Maybe you're confusing with FT 232BL?

If you want clone VCDS with FT 232BL buy a 6x, 7x or 8x and then upgrade it to 908.0. Most clone versions prior to 805 use FT232RL.

I have found source for FT 232BL vcds 10.6

atmega 162 dump fits different for each ftdi.
for example dump for 232 bl its not same for dump RL .
vagcom will not recognize interface if serial of ftdi bl or rl its not agreed.

Dump for 10.6 is around some time. It's nothing new. Only if you didn't pay for it. That's something :D

Hmmm. I don't think that it will work...

I also have in my cable 10.6 flash and 908.0 eeprom but I can't use the VCDS software verison 10.6.
