0107 is the corrrect code for the serial number given.

All I can say... is to look for any other serial numbers. CDR-4600's serial numbers usually begin with letter 'A'...

Failing this... radio may have been re-coded in the past.

To be honest, I haven't physically seen a CDR4600, but I was going by most code requests for them are answered successfully using the FIC algorithm.

It's the serial number that's strange... so agree, possible its the Ford M algo. You've maybe had more experience though..

Interesting if kennedy-afn could post the part-number as well.

If here in Argentina there are two types of stereo take the fic in Brazil and some that say model m, but are calculated as M.
I also I've been wrong several times with these stereos but eventually learned to take the two numbers in case.
