Hi,
I tried a A3 march 2003 tonight would not go by OBD,
vagprog communication error, diga ask old mileage, after fill in new mileage reset nothing happens, I took out cluster and programmed manually. I thought all M73 cluster could be done by OBD2? Vag+k commander you have to edit manually, didn't trusted that. vagtacho read old mileage after fill in new value nothing, disconnected battery nothing?

You cant do this dash with Autodetect (in Audi menu with Diga). You must use MM Diag in Audi menu.
Best regards

its magnetimareli from 2001/06 with checksum. Enigma verry bad with it, do onlly some versions. vagprog do onlly to 2001. Dp3 its ok, but best soft for these M73 2001/06- is from CodeCard in "login reader".

Just an oddball version with mileage in different address
It is possible by manually editing data in 912 .
Nothing does this one, not dp3,enigma etc,NONE!
Remeber, there is nothing wrong with telling the customer it cant be done.
Not your fault he has done too many miles!

I have got full carprog package, up to date.
including Audi cluster repair 908.
Must have done 500 Audi TT`s, all the shitty problems you can imagine,BUT, now I have stopped, life is too short!
Nomore cluster repaqirs of an type thankyou.
Just mileage correction for me. what a difference, hardly any headaches!
Had only 3 TT`s that could not change miles on, ended up doing them manually.
But, if you have a seemple way, please share the details with the guy who is struggling right now.:wavey:

Hello people this is the way to do with Diga, been doing it for years and never any issues.
Use the pics below after programming simply short the 2 pins on the micro as shown in pic No 2 or mileage will not change.
Ps dont forget to press the thanks button.

that looks like a good tool
Is it an update for existing carprog users?
Only versions 4B0, 8D0, 8L0, 8N1, 8N2 , have you tried with other clusters?
