There is new software for BMW now from Avtotools the price of the tool is 1800 euro ,but you need to have HiTag2 programmer to programm transponder keys .

Look up AVTO tools and order direct, the dude's name is Eugene.
I'd like to see this tool in action. Particularly before shelling out so much money on it.
Hard to compete with the dealerships on BMW key prices, must be a DIRE emergency for the customer, and you would need to do a lot of jobs to return anything on investment.
The dealer will order keys and charge the customer 200 USD, I would have to charge 500 to make the tool profitable, and then customer ends up with ugly Chinese key, a hard sell.

this tool is only for diag , it can't program key and F01 is not supported .

i was under the impession that witht the HiTagII and the Explorer, this would permit for programming keys.

New version of BMW Explorer only for key programmer cost 600 euro.
In description is "learning key directly in ignition coil";
For what is wanted they Hitag2 programmer if it working in ignition coil ??
600 euro is good price. Anybody bought it ?

They've only just change this and I think they need to clarify there descriptions a little, but seems like good knews for people that just want to program keys.
