Immo1-Immo2-Immo3 VAG pin reader?

Hi Im looking for a device that can get the pin codes from these VAG Immos.

I would like to program new keys to something like a 2001 A6 but I need the pin. Does anyone know of a product I can but to get the pin code. I have have VAG Com 10.6 but it asks for pin to program. Car had to be towed to dealer. I don't want to continue loosing business because of the hidden pin code issues. I have found a OBD device that reads Immo1 and Immo3 pins. I don't know if these are the pins to program new keys. is it worth it not bothering with Immo2?

Hopefully something OBD style so I don't have to rip out the cluster every time.

Vag tacho. or Vag commander. I have original one and works great, beacuse the chinesse tools..are very idiot tools..it reads the pin..and then automatically changes it. 3 times..and it will lock the immo.

With original cable is very easy..like 5 min to read the pin..and 5 min with vag com..pin is disabled or reprogram a new key

most immo3 systems i use vag k can commander 1.4 china version. i have never had any problems pulling pin codes from vag cars. i also use vag tacho 2.4 for some of the golf 4 s. pulling pin codes from immo 1 and some of the immo 2 cars via obd is a little tricky. two very cheap tools, but worth the money. for most of the vdo clusters i also use uzi pro. this tool is quite expensive compare the the other once i have mentioned. in my country south africa we have the citi golf and old 9v polos which use the immo 1 system. best is to remove eeprom from immo box, read and save the dump, after that use pin code calculater to get secret pin code. hope this helps.

For vag there is only 1 reliable tool for the pro, AVDI. In the uk the official outlet is kapdiagnostics. check the link Home page (http://www.kapdiagnostics.com/)

Anyone know of a good dealer?

Problem is I can't spend a lot of money so cost is an issue. I don't know if china clone is worth it. Though the company I get my immo chips from China has the clone for $120 not shipped. They have never let me down before. And the extra help has been awesome from them.

But I'm looking at original peaces right now.

We can use VAG Eeprom Programmer v.1.18P .I use it succesfull for golf 4 and passat!

You need to unlock ID48 chip with zedbull before

VAG id48 immo2 generation are not locked and You can reuse it again and again for immo2 but when You use it on immo3 car You cant program it to another car. I think vag login detector from vagdashcom was not bad for this cars, it is not clone from clone like others, it cover realy much version from dashes. For immo1 You can read PIN only when key is present with obd2, it is littel stupid because You can clone this key without any problem too. Golf 5 is full CAN immo3 and immo4. Immo4 need precoded transponder, but for immo3 You can very simply add key or register new keys without any PIN with many tools(to 06/06 by VW CAN and by Seat to model 2009).
