hi, the radiator should be against, or sealed against the same size hole in the wall - gensets push air through the radiator rather than pull. you then need plenty ventilation - luvoured doors etc to allow air to flow in - 5/1 ratio with radiator size. normally the exhausts are connected with a flexible bellows so the silencer needs to be supported on chains from the roof to hold its weight or the bellows will crack. make sure the exhaust points away from any buildings & that its of a decent diameter so it does not restrict the engine, especially if longer than normal - also ensure bends are not restrictive. Electric hook up is normally simple - depends on the changeover panel type - full auto or manual.
