any one help as regards to my snr all of a sudden dropping?
up until a few days ago my snr on the hd channels was high 60's to 70%, with no glitching.
but latley has dropped to 50% or below,
this is ok on most hd channels except the usual espn hd etc.
i have a in line amp, and was wondering would it be possible that this has gone faulty or is there something else, thats changed/ gone faulty?

could be a number of things mate... heavy snow on your dish may have knocked it ever so slightly off line, water in the Coax or LNB..
I'd start with the usual suspect of the inline amp.. remove it and see if there is any drop in signal..

thanks for that, snow hasnt been the problem where i live, and the cable is well protected in sheathing.
so im kind off guessing ( or like you said) in-line amp/lnb.
Dish is easy to get to, so im going to take the amp off first.
just as a wild guess, is there any chance that my tuner is failing or is it a question of they work or they dont??

Hi,
Would be most grateful if you would let me know where I can get some guidance about
gettin HD channels to be opened on my DM 800 HD clone.
My reception system is HD compliant(even LNB smart Titanium 0,1 dB)
Thanks in anticipation for your assistance.
CCheers.
