I think the wiring diagram will be,

P1 battery > ignition switch > radio
P2 battery > ignition switch > coil
P3 (start) battery > igntion switch > starter motor

And maybe one for the lights? Or did they use candles that time?:hmmmm2:

Since the car is old i think wiring diagrams are only available on paper. Try to find books for r9 or r11 on ebuy or in renault specific forums.
Look here (Renault R_9_Werkstatt_Handbuch_Schaltplan_1986 bei eBay.de: Reparaturanleitungen (endet 09.12.10 17:57:07 MEZ) (http://cgi.ebay.de/Renault-R-9-Werkstatt-Handbuch-Schaltplan-1986-/220667445477?pt=Automobilia_DE&hash=item3360ce00e5))
100 pages, german

You're right, problems are not funny that time you have it.
But be sure, everybody here wanted to help. Dont get it wrong, no offence intended, its a little bit kind of entertainment, too.
Maybe post the problem with that car and somebody can help more? Or did you sorted the problem?

French cars can drive you crazy, the older they are, the more they do. I have one myself. So its hard to speak about them without making a joke. I think every "non starter" thread here is based on a psa or renault car ;-)

By the way i don't need the diagram that badly.let's say i just wondered it.
But i didn't recognize french cars are quite unpopular in England before that. The first posts seems to make only fun of me in first place, but now i understand.Sorry for the mess i caused:pepsi:

French, they do things for no reson, just to piss you off.

Wiring diagramme, waste of time, you will end up with at least 3, each one is not quite the one for your car.

If anything goes wrong, if you can't fix it in 2 hours, run new wires in.
