Hi, just busy repairing my foo-foo valve tester, do a search by member Z786 - started threads, somebody mutters the coil in the key.

Also do a search for thread 'remote key tester' somebody - AWESOME post, Fiat ignition transponder loop, add led - AWESOME tester for loops.

Hi

You must open ESL ( there are 4 small black bolts )
you can see only 2 because other two is behind sterring colum
and these 2 is enough to remove ( 2mm-2.5mm drill..)
then use biger screwdriver and open the cover with force :)
then remove round transmision ( don`t know how to say )
and try 2-3 times to put key in ezs. then you must get back round transmision on place and it will work, ( i think that
"that" round transmision fall from phase or somting like that

I dont know yet if you checked the earth cable on the gearbox body, if the nut is loosen then for sure could not crank the starter. I have had a couple already and maybe you can have a look

if you put key in ezs and not hear bzzzzz from steering colum
and when connect Star diagnose in ezs in parameters must see that key is recognized. if key ok then ESL ( electronic steering lock ) was faulty. i have that problem .
