The way the files are arranged on the discs is by flash file number (e.g., 12345, 12346 12347). They basically are in order and the actual flash files numbers don't necessarily mean that they are grouped together by engine type.

So short answer to your question: No, you are probably better off having both discs just in case a flash file you need is in one and not the other. Typically there are only 2 or 3 flash file discs anyway so it's not a HUGE disc set like Cat SIS (which actually has different discs based on engine and truck type. For example, SIS has a separate disc for on-highway trucks)
