how do you bleed fuel on a vauxhall vivario once new filter has gone in i have no pump or any thing around filter area to let me bleed fuel throw any ides

it might have a primary pump in the tank that should prime the filter when you cycle the key (but dont start) just cycle key a few times
can you give a bit more info ? like year and cc makes advice a bit more solid

Most diesel cars from 1998 you do not have to bleed because they are fitted with the return pipe remember most diesel engines do not have electric fuel pump therefore after you have changed the fuel filter the car will not start this is because the fuel filter has no fuel inside and cranking the engine for some time the car will automatically start providing your battery is in good condition, this is what I do buy some extra diesel in your can and fill your fuel filter with diesel as much as you can and you should able to start the car.

disconect the fuel feed line before filter ( between tank and filter) , put some in head of it so that you can flow the diesel inside from a bottle .
But best is to have a manual bleeding pump so that you can make some pressure that will exaust the air out
