EEPROM is here
http://www.diagnostics.org.uk/decode/13122010555.jpg

You need an eeprom programmer, I use a UPA USB. This one can be read in situ, but it is always best to remove.

Once read, post the dump here and people will give you the code

hello, DashRadio

If, it is only to read a eeprom, i am not interested in recording.

There is a system easier to read ?.......thanks

Get yourself a clip to put on the end of your 8 wires

dashradio recommends the good clips...manufacturer...'POMONA'

Be aware of similar cheaper SOIC-8 SCOTCH 3M clips.... bought them once... and they are rubbish ...
poor contact, heavy spring... had to file away pastic tip to get contact...

Yes, I also use a clip but I cannot find the way to remove the carpass from my CDC40 Opera. I can read the eeprom though. I've been messing with both the CDC40 radio and the GID and CID displays I have and now I ended up with a different carpass in each :-/

Is there a way to remove carpass from a GID and/or CID display as there is for the Opel CDxx radios?

Best regards!

Maybe if someone is interested.

Tech2 resetted EEPROM bin

Not useful to anyone as reset is individual to each radio....
