I need to make immo off on this ECU (Berlingo 1.4). The thing is that it does not have 28F256 or 27C256, but has 29C512 memory. Which wiring diagram do I have to use in order to read TMS with XProg-M? Thanks!

Hi. Solution for SL96 with 29c512

Save eprom my file,insert eprom to the Ecu. Turn on ignition 30second. Remove eprom and insert orginal eprom.Best done on a table not in the car.

35 and 13 +12v
36 and 54 GND
31 K
12 L
48 and 27 Immo

What do you use to read TMS? XProg-M? Can you show me the connection diagram?

^^ This did not work for me. However, shorting pins 1A-1B ... to 9A-9B by sliding tweezers over EEPROM's legs did the trick. It just takes some patience, it took me about 5 minutes of "tweezer sliding" and car started. If you don't know the exact procedure, search for thread about Renault's ECU "Fenix".

This procedure works on ALL ECUs with TMS inside. Tested on SL96-9 too by myself!

Hi,

There is no need to R/W TMS or de-solder flash. I have combine the standard TMS reset method with one other well known to people that crack MCUs. The result is able to reset TMS374 and TMS R314 as well.

Just pass a check with LEXIA for erase alls defaults after take this method and vehicle start immediatly.

I have realize this solution directly on vehicle with 2 or 3 pass for short cut between each pins.

Hi,

I heard about wizz2c solving (the tweezer method), but never tried it. Yesterday I have test it and it's WORKING!!! UNBELIEVABLE!
I'm electroengenieur, so I hate this kind of solutions, because we don't know, what we do, but it's working, and much easier, then reprogram the TMS374 processor.

Two times tested on SL96-9 ECU with 29C512.
I played 5-10 minutes with the first one, but the second took me around 5 second, just sliding tweezers over EEPROM's legs two times and DONE! :-) You should slide from memory to processor direction, just quick slide, as by painting.

Tiny sweeper is useless for SL96-9, because the 22th pin of 29C512 (chip Enabled) is connected to earth unter the 29C512 memory!

I can't remember, but you can check it in the Autodata. Do you have it? If not, write me the exactly type of the car, made year, engine code (or first 10 characters of the vin) and I can check for you.
One of manual write this: INCORRECT!!!
The correct pinout see two comments below!
Pin 1 --- 12v+
Pin 2\3\18 --- GND
Pin 27\48 Immo data line (cut)

best solution is to ground the pin 22 or 23 of eeprom with a resistor 47 ohm to ground . it will reset the tmas374 and it will become virgin the ecu . tou remove the immobox and enjoy

I don't remember, how the MIL and main relay control work, so the best test on the bench is the diagnostic -> live data. I think you have to connect K and L-line too!

1) connect power and grounds for SL96
ECU pin 13 and 35 connect to +12V
ECU pin 36 and 54 connect to GND
K-LINE from diagnostic tool connect to ECU pin 12(L-Line) and pin 31(K-Line)

2) do not use AUTO ID on Your diagnostic tool !!! - this feature going to establish connection with BSI but You don't have it on Your bench - so choose car model/engine manualy!!!

if You made immo off properly - you will establish communication with ENGINE ECU
if You can't connect to ECU - check wirring and make surre the car and engine code You want to connect is the correct one. If problem exist - probably You are not in IMMO OFF MODE - keep trying Your immo off solution once again
