Hi,

I have installed a linux server and it is running ClearOS 5.2 ...
Works great and i have installed NewCS on it and it reads the Sly card perfectly.

I have HTPC that is connected to the server and running dvbviewer with ACamD. this also works great. (In future i will have dreambox too)

My question is:
I have read alot about updating the sly card in cccam and that it is not safe... now i have chosen NewCS and want to know if it is safe to update the card in NewCS ?
And what should the settings be in newcs config file?
I have disabled everythink of those updatings in config file but hopes that one of you guys here can tell me what the settings should be and if it is safe to do...

thanks in advance

as the other guys said cccam 2.1.3 will update your card but i would still recommend you return the card to the sly box at regular intervals like every two weeks or once a month just to be safe.
