Hello.
How i do vw touareg 11/2003 with tacho universal?
Can it make by obd? Or chip?
If that is chip? How hard is take off instrument cluster? And where chip is. Did i have to take off needles?

Car type: VW Tuareg - 24c16 - 2003 year
The mileage is stored in the next lines:
00D0: ED F0 DB E1 B7 C3 6F 87 DF 0E BF 1D 7F 3B FF 76
00E0: F0 ED E1 DB C3 B7 87 6F 0E DF 1D BF 3B 7F 76 FF
all shown bytes is a mileage

Hi, yes you can do this Touareg by OBD with Tacho Universal but you must use old Audi/VW Sharan 2000 cable.

you have to remove needeles.. then you see on pcb the chip... to remove the needles you need to twist the needles into other direction and pull ..
then i recomend to desolder the chip

Remember to open up cable and bridge pin 3 and 7 or it wont work, i got this tip off here recently

this is valid for cayenne only. porsche has motor and gearbox on 7 and rest of electronics on pin 3.
