if you read bsi dumps as V1 or V2 dumps will be the same but can you read dash and bsi with a programmer as BIN format?

Hi, for this type of P307 use simple eeprom programmer, dash (95020) and BSI (95128). For calcilation use NYO4.
It is 15 minute job. I have Diga Consult orginal and Enigma but for this type of car simple programmer is the best solutions.

Best regards
Vladimir

e2p is not the same, compare two dumps and you will see.
You can convert your e2p to bin with tachodump software (save as...)

He wants a higher value? You can only change dash then, no need to do the BSI.

hmmmm
do they not program one another up ?

also if only doing dash
i cannot get a good default value with the dashfixer

here a dash dump with 76000miles. if you want higher value it's ok no need to make BSI. hope original value is 19768miles and not 197680miles.

yes deffo very low miles in this clock :)
hence why he wants them putting up

Original value near 219000, you need to correct BSI.

hi mastaflex

i notcied by doing a compare of the 2 files u change the bytes like it says in tachosoft :)

i wasnt going to put the new milage in there as i could nto get it to gove me the 19768miles that was already in the dump.

how did you work it out if you dont mind me asking

ill write the dump to the chip in the morning and throw the bsi unit back in first
the re connect battery.

hopefully all shoud be well

thanks again

dave11674, display is not working on yor dash. You cant see "2". 219768 in your original dump. You must use tachosoft to corect BSI.

if mileage have to go up than you can do dash only.
don`t have to do bsi because bsi will follow dash (higher mileage)
you do bsi plus dash only when mileage have to go down.

I know, but mileage have to go dawn. Please, look to original dump, it has 219768 miles not 19768.

hi how are you getting this ?

the display when it was in the car read 19768miles? ?!?!
if the BSI was on 219768 then wouldnt it of gave the higher valuer to the clocks already ?

you know guys looking at my dump a little more now you could be right.

when i think of it the clocks were a little "doctored" if u follow me, meaning there was a piece of black masking take opver one of the contacts where the display rubber connects it to the board.

i shall look at the BSI dump again and see if they match up.
ill try get teh clocks powered up on the bench too without programming the chip also.
see what they read with this dodgy bit of tape removed.

thanks

ok guys
when i had the clocks apart the other day i did notice some black tape over teh diplay contact
1 of them
taking this off n testing shows this on the clocks now..

http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c188/dave11674/Img_0669.jpg

as you can see teh 2 in the front is now showing up

so now the clocks are programmed up by dump above
i need to zero this BSI
does any1 know where the milage will be in teh BSI
ill have to refer to tachosoft to see.

thanks again guys

some1 has deffo tampered with this dash lol

Dave, you must use TachoSoft 21.5 to correct dump in BSI.
Car type: Peugeot 307 BSI Type 1 - 95128 - 2006-2007 years
219768miles=353607km
353607km = 040BC6F43500
0km = FFFF00000000

The mileage is stored in the next lines:
, BSI is made by Valeo, in BSI you must find 95128
01D0: xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx B0 BD 40 42 0F 00 xx xx
01E0: B0 BD 40 42 0F 00 xx xx B0 BD 40 42 0F 00 xx xx
where the next bytes:
B0 BD 40 42 0F 00 - is a mileage
