Hello i have an bmw e39 high ? ike sw 13 hw 14 year 2000
Current km is 352940 in 0040: is shown :9D23 1259 1BFC
I WANT 228562 MY DIgister writes in 0040 : A127 16AC EEC0
TACHOSOFT SAYS THAT I WRITE .: 228562km =0040: 27A1 AC16 C0EE

What is right ????

ok i try both and every time the same show me 274345 put the origin back same shit 274345 and miles shown . put the 93 cs66 out and same count 274345

whats going on

please help

E39 from 2000 have M35080 inside if i`m correct!!!!
did one yesterday!! s.w. 14 - h.w. 13

i opend it and found only an 93 s 66

not all...some of them have 93s66...

@ tomuch :use bmw scanner to do this type of dash by obd

i tra really everything put back the original damp direct in 93s66 odo shows 274... miles try to change it odo shoes again 274... miles take out the 93s66 and power it up odo shows again 274... miles please can anyboda help me is the kms in other space stored ???

dont have obd scannder

i'm talking about bmw scanner,not "obd scannder"...buy a cheap chinese copy...if you can modify mileage from dump,please tell me how...and post both dump here...

You should try driving the car for 50km or more and then try again, or use a frequency generator and pulse it. I had a problem like that very long time ago, and this solved it.
Also the dump you posted is read with Tacho, try reading with a programmer in bin format, and we'll try to help.

if you have a Diga /tacho you can do this via obd selecting sw16, or else iwould suggest that you bridge the quartz, and the then change the new value in km and all will be fine mate im sure.

i tried it with driwing nothing help try to prog it with obd onlr read ???????? . so i ordered a new (used) cluster. can somebody tell me where the vin is stored in the eprom i will this time read it direct and change km and have to change the vin to .

1.You should read an eeprom again
2 put it all together in the car
3 drive around for 20 km or so
4 read an eeprom again now
5 compare two files and find the area that changed - that's where you change milleage
6 battery has to be disconnected, press horn for a while to empty capacitors
7 put it in the car, milleage should change

if I am correct digimaster II has an adapter (9pin DB9) for E39
connect it via cluster plug and select diagnosis
