DigiVox XL Blacking Out

Hi guys wondering if anyone can help me?

I have a digivox xl and it is blacking out, the picture goes, screen goes black, but you can still get sound.

Some times if you catch it and flick up and down channels it stops for a bit.

It seems to just happening on s*y1. dunno if i can type that or not.

I have the new firmware installed, the lastest release from a few days ago, but it was doing it before that anyway.

I have another digivox xl up stairs and it works fine, when i replace it with the blacking out one theres no probs.

Do you think the tuner is going? I thought it might be the signal but since using the other box it seems not.

Has anyone else had or got this problem?

Any help would be greatly apprecated.

ok so its started doing it on the second box, moved that one downlstairs.

So im thinking its not the boxes, so maybe bad scart cable.

I will check and let you know.

Minter if its just the scart.

wicky wtf are folk thanking you for? you are asking if anyone has similar experiences to you?! souds like a scart issue mate unless your box is faulty? any broken teeth in your scart?
