International road speed governor change

Question for everyone cannot figure out what i have to do change the road speed governor on an international 4300 dt466 wondering if anyone can tell me what engine i have to pic to connect to it with servicemaxx? It is in a 2007 straight truck thank you all do i have to be connected to the internet to change it ?

servicemaxx should automatically connect and determine engine, does the screen pop up and ask you what engine it is?

yes it does pop up and ask me what the engine is i pick the maxx5 2007-2009 and the i6 and none of them can recognize the ecm number cant figure out what the problem is

go under you comm devices and see if it is set up on USB Link J1708 or USB LINK J1939 that maybe the issue, Make sure you select J1708.

thank you i will try it on monday when i see the guy again when its trying to find the engine it keeps showing the dots going back and forth and the thing keeps popping up to pic the engine thank again

To be honest i have no clue, I haven't had to change any parameters in a international yet.

based on this the default password is "0000"

if you can connect servicemaxx to intenet you can change paremeters with out password

The password is 0000. for future reference if the engine is blue and not a maxxforce it is on the 1708 line. If the engine is a Maxxforce then its on the 1939 datalink.

:) Maxxforce is the new international motors. Is there a reason that they lost the international name?

Maxxforce is just a name for their line of engines. the maxxforce dt is the same as the dt466 and the dt570 is the maxxforce 9 and 10. the bigger engines are MAN engines with internationals fuel system on it
