I am proud to have a mitsubishi pajero 3.5 GDi v6 petrol 2002 year. Is there somewhere a configurabile ecu for this car to buy?
or a good file for this car?
anybody knows what flash is inside of its ecu?

Can You post no of this ecu? Maybe a photo of ecu will be helpful.
Did You try OpenPort to read it?
Working on standalone ecu with direct gasoline injection is a hard work... Maybe Motec or Pectel will have some ECU which supports direct injection.

yes you are right its Direct Injection, high pressure pump..
To read I have for moment MPPS and Galetto, which noone knows japanese cars.
I will check if BYTESHOOTER can read.
engine is 6G74.

Here You are.
It's stock rom and rom definition in xml file.
It's from Mitsu diamante, but it's the same engine as in pajero.

he he :) GDi = gasoline direct injection. ( 2 liter, 3.5 liter engines)
DiD = Diesel direct injection ( 3.2 engines)

All their petrol ones use a denso ECU and as with the other Mitsubishis and Subarus the Openport will read it.
We have a car here call a Mitsubishi Magna with the same 3.5 V6 engine and I've read that with the Openport. Its useless though as we need a definition file to locate the maps within OR someone whos really bored to go through the rom and locate them.
Its not turbo anyway the gains will not be very large at all
I'll look at Kuba's XML def above and see whats inside

It is interesting to look at the OpenPort, as he cope with the LancerX 1.5 ))
That's a good tool: ??????? ??????? (http://mmcflash.ru/catalog/)

Ecu of course it is denso . My ideea was in fact to reduce the petrol quantity when the pedal is pushed , so that the engine open the throttle but not inject.
So that I can use instead the petrol other nonconvetional fuels . ( like Hydrogen, LPG, Acetylen) he he .
This car really dont need more power, because SW apply lot of torque, can climb up the walls really.
No need power extra on the normal roads becaue if u are not really carefull u turn it with the wheels up.

Im working on the hydrogen + LPG to add insteand the petrol , but the car to add also petrol minimum quantity ( for cooling injectors , the injectors are in the fire chamber)

for the moment only solution to lie the ecu about position sensor and TPS is to add an extra engine ecu and extra pedal position sensor to guide the throttle .

If the car had cable for the throttle, problem was easy, but there is an electric throttle body .

I know im mad :D

To deceive car GDI will end badly, IMHO.

these engines are not the best when standard,so with a remap either eco or power they will not be good.....

Thank you for your information! Do you think I can read the 3.5 gdi ecu with MMCflash and then use your xml file with ECUflash to edit the rom?

I realised this is VERY old but I'm interested in these files please. I cannot seem to download - not enough forum permissions??
