Hi Gents Seasons greating to all.

I have taken my dash out, but not sure where the soldering points are because mine has 10 holes (4 + 6) on the top left.

If I could remove the needles I would be able to follow pins to mcu to verify which point is which pin, but I am scared to pull off the needles incase they snap.

I have edited the picture to show what i assume are the connection points. Can someone please confirm that I have the correct points

Also do I need to short the crystal if reading upa usb?

Thankyou in advance

Thanks obdflasher.

Did you have to short the crystal to read MCU with upa-usb?

Also my dash is different it is a 2006 model with the 2007 dash, so layout on the board is different!

Do you have to turn the needles anticlockwise to remove?

Thanks

hello,
no need to join the cristal, just read with upa.
but then you must connect diga, because i think you don?t have other way to adjust milleage.
but use upa to save the dump. diga is not 100% safe to save the dump
you could clock wise and pull that needles.
no problem with that needles
take needles and follow the liones, then you know the points
