Hi. Here's a VDO 882SX D43 dump from a 1999 A8.

Does anyone have a tool for me that could decrypt it, or know anything about the type of encryption used? I'm not trying to change the odo or anything, I'd just like to understand how it is scrambled. A decrypted dump would also be appreciated.

Also, can someone get the PIN from this dump?

Thanks. Hm, that's the cleartext value at 0x7bc as big endian.
I don't think it's correct, it would have to be decrypted first, and login codes for this kind of cluster+ecu should be 4 digits plus leading zero. VW will generate a 7 digit SKC from it with date + dealer code.

edit: I found an uncrypted dump of a similar cluster, and it has a decimal value <10000 at this spot.
The problem is that the D43's eeprom is encrypted.

The correct PIN for this dump is 8004.

And it seems no one can decrypt it..
