I've been looking into remapping my 406 3.0 v6 engine with a motronic MP7.0, I so far understand that the map is found in the CC460, which may contain a 28F010/29F010, I'm not sure on that though, apparently this CC460 can also be found in some BMW ecu.

I know that the ecu can be written via the obd connector because I've updated the software of the ecu with peugeot planet, I'm not too bothered how I read and write it, I don't mind opening the ecu and even removing the CC460 if needs be!

Surely something I have can read and write to this ecu, I have a willem, xprog-m and a galletto 1260. What I need to know really is the pinout of the CC460 to enable to read/write the internal flash, I read that EVC have an adaptor that will enable the CC460 to be programmed as a 28F010, but that is out of the question!

Has anyone had any experiance with this ecu/chip that could share any information?

Thanks,
Rob

Another thing, the galletto 1260 software has ME5.2 listed, which has the same CC460, if I were to connect the galletto to my car and select for instance the BMW 318, with ME5.2 (CC460), would it read the MP7.0 CC460 by any chance?

I tried plugging the galletto in and selecting an ME5.2 with CC460 and it doesn't even read the ecu data, so that's out the window!

Does anyone know where I could find a datasheet for this chip?

Thanks,
Rob

Hey Rob, did you ever get the cc460 read?
