Any 1 can explane a diagram of how to fit a blanking plate on the EGR valve on the Vauxhall Signum 2.0D. dtI 2003-05. Engine code Y20DTH. Appreciate your help.

Just remove the EGR, use the gasket as template but dont cut the hole in the middle, you may have to machine it a little to make sure its not pushing the valve open and also its got room for the EGR pin to move

Ask the main dealer, they say (but no one know you "they" are) that they do a factory blanking plate !!

Completely blanking off the EGR will result in fault codes with Opel. Drill two 6 or 8 millimeter holes in the blanking plate.

So looking at that picture of the EGR do we make a plate to cover the entire centre hole were its secured with two bolts.

Man just the thing I was looking for I wish I can thank you 10 times. I suppose we could block EGR valve to any vehicles.
