It refers to the accel pedal, or tps. Travel refers to the percentage the pedal is pressed. Hope this help you.

Remove footwell trim panels above
accelerator pedal.
Unplug connector of pedal travel
sensor and connect up test cable.Use digital multimeter e.g.for checking.Switch on ignition. Pedal travel sensor in idle position. Measure voltage between sockets
and 8. Set value: 0 V Voltage between sockets 2 and 8. Set value: 0.45 - 0.55 V Possible causes of trouble: - Pedal travel sensor fault - Wiring harness fault

TRY THIS TOO IHOPE ITS HELP...
When performing the following test it is appropriate to check with two digital multimeters. Slowly floor accelerator pedal and observe multimeter. Measurement between sockets 3 and 8. Switching point of idle switch with voltage step change from: 0 V to max. 28 V (B+) Measurement between sockets 2 and 8. At switching point of idle switch. Set value: 0.65 - 0.95 V

If potentiometer voltage at switching point of idle switch is not OK, check power supply at potentiometer. Measurement between sockets 1 and 8. Set value: 4.8 - 5.1 V Possible causes of trouble: - Fault in wiring harness - Control unit defective

Check potentiometer signal. Measurement between sockets 2 and 8. Floor accelerator pedal. Set value: 2.9 - 3.5 V Possible cause of trouble: - Defective pedal travel sensor If the measurements reveal the possibility of a fault in the wiring harness to the control unit, continue measurement procedure with cab tilted. Switch off ignition.
Pedal travel sensor in idle position. Measurement between sockets 22 and 34. Set value: 4.8 - 5.1 V Measurement between sockets 22 and 35. Set value: 0.4 - 0.6 V Pedal travel sensor in full-throttle position. Measurement between sockets 22 and 35. Set value: 2.9 - 3.3 V Switch off ignition if one of the set values is not attained.
Possible fault: - Connecting leads between control unit and pedal travel sensor. Check in accordance with electrical terminal diagram. Pay attention to adapter.
