sorry mate unable to extract dump from radio. It does not have a serial memory chip.e.g 24C00. I believe the dump is stored on the MCU chip and I don't have a way to extract it. That's why I was hoping it could be decoded using serial number.

Thanks m8 for info. Will have to built max232 interface and download datasheet for mcu but what software do i use to extract dump from radio.? Also do i need to disconnect any circuits to MCU when connecting to max232 interface?

Thanks m8 for the info. Okay so now I know I need to solder the max interface directly to the radio cpu but still I have no idea of what software to use that will allow me to connect to the radio and download the dump from it.
