IDS + Intel processor?

I'm trying to install JAG/LR IDS V124 and it won't install because its wants a Pentium Processor and I have an Intel. How to get around this? Thanks.

Maybe you can install VWware program, my Panasonic CF-18 laptop thinks its a IBM T30 so it can run the BMW INPA, I dont know what or how to install it but im sure someone on here will help you out

I am running multiple VMs on my computer, but they all use the processor type from the host computer. I can modify the number of processors used, but not the type.

I took your advice and tried to install it in a VM and it worked!

Now I just need to figure out how to get it to recognize my J2534 device.

What version will? There is a V122 disc for sale on ebay that shows a drop-down menu where you can select between J2534 or VCM

I wonder if it is capable of full OEM diagnosis or just allows drivetrain diagnosis / flash update??

Thats what I was trying to figure out. I know it says the VCM must be used for diagnostics, but thats what was said about VIDA a long time ago too...

Version 123.08 is last version with J2534 option, and I believe allows full diagnostics
