Hi,

I tried to put a polo 2010 in service mode today, read eprom as 24c32 on back of board, changed to service mode, did not work.
I opened the cluster, saw that chip was a 24C64 not 24C32.
More data in chip. Someone has a solution for this? Tried with smelecom service mode tool did not work.

VDO cluster from march 2010.

Thanks.

Hi friend, I compared your dump with one of Ibiza 6J 24c32 and I have seen that the areas of information have the same pattern, so i think that only different is that they have more separation between them, if you know how to calculate the new millage and where is it, I think that won?t be very difficult to look in the dumps of polo 24c64 and change it by hand, if you don?t know how to calculate another option will be, read a polo with 24c32, change the millage with the new millage that you need, read again the polo with 24c32, see the differences and search at polo 24c64 to put the new millage, if I can help you at anything post me ;)

Thanks I don't think that will help mileage is not the problem you cannot change mileage direct by dump, you need the key. Changing instance on adress D80 till D8F wil not help there is more, I searched for the same string in dump but it isn't there.
