So this new system will be an online program similar to BMW ISTA? What i read so far it might be. If car manufactures model their diag system like BMW there will be no more indi shops left in the near future.

It's the plan alright. This is why anyone that is a mechanic should make plans to get out of this trade with in the next 10 to 15 years. No matter how much i love fixing cars they are slowly taking that away
