I would if possible like to connect my 220tgm to my router using wi-fi.
I have a Sitecom wl-172 usb wireless network adaptor just wasting away here and would like to put it to use.
Would it be a case of 'plug and play' or is there a little more to it than that.

Thanks guys

From what i remember it was only a few old usb dongles that worked with the itgate there was a list on the old SK site, but why not give it a try assigning the box to dchp and see if it connects to your network ?

or you could link it up to a wireless access point adapter (http://www.tp-link.com/products/productdetails.asp?pmodel=TL-WA601G) with ethernet port which became a struggle for me, so what i did in the end was to link it up with a set of home plugs (http://www.eclipsecomputers.com/product.aspx?code=NET-PA101K&af=50) which is plug and play compared to the access point is much easier.

I tried but nothing happened not sure if I had to put 'x' in the DCHP and Network boxes or leave out, so I tried both variations and rebooted after each attempt. There is a power on light on the dongle but that didnt even light. The light on the dongle, when plugged into laptop powers up.
It was only because the dongle is sat doing nothing I thought i'd have a go.
I think I will just reroute a few cables and plug in directly.

Thanks for your time.
